A Dabawenya is accusing Senators Antonio Trillanes and Leila de Lima of offering her P1 million in exchange for testifying against President Rodrigo Duterte before an international court.

Guillermina “Grace” Arcillas, said she was first approached by Fr. Bert Alejo who is said to be close to Senator De Lima to execute an affidavit against Duterte. She said that she was given money by Fr. Alejo and the staff of Sen. Trillanes in many instances while her affidavit is being prepared.

Arcillas said she received an estimated P300,000 in cash from them during several months that she is being groomed to testify against Duterte.

From September to December 2016, Arcillas said she went back and forth to Metro Manila and stayed in two convents while her affidavit was revised for a total of fifteen times.

Arcillas said upon seeing the final draft of the affidavit she was scared and decided not to sign it and return here in Davao City.

Asked how she got entangled with the Liberal Party, Arcillas explained that back in December 2015 she decided to support the LP after her request for assistance from then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was not granted.

She said that when Fr. Alejo saw her Facebook posts against Duterte and how she is related to a city councilor along with her several photos showing her with President Duterte, Alejo and the two senators decided to groom her as a witness against Duterte.

Arcillas said that de Lima and Trillanes decided to make her a witness against Duterte and his alleged involvement in illegal drugs and not on extra-judicial killings as the President seemed unfazed on the issue on EJK.

Arcillas said she met with Trillanes and de Lima last December 2016.

Detailing her experience while being groomed as a witness against Duterte, Arcillas said that she was coached and coaxed by Alejo and the staff of Trillanes every step of the way. She said that all of her rehearsed phone conversations were also recorded as evidence in case she decides to back out from her agreement with the group of Alejo and the two senators.
